Job SummaryThis leadership role oversees a business unit responsible for managing public sector projects across North Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, team management, and project delivery.Key Responsibilities

• Drive business development efforts to grow the business in sectors like utilities, roads, and drainage.
• Lead the creation of medium and long-term strategic plans for the unit.
• Spearhead business development by focusing on both existing and new clients.
• Provide technical support for business development, including preparing proposals and presentations.
• Ensure the quality of project deliverables through a robust quality assurance program.
• Oversee the performance of design teams on various projects.
• Develop and monitor operational budgets for the business line.
• Accountable for the financial success of a unit with an annual revenue target of $10 million.
• Regularly report to senior leadership on the division's performance and participate in monthly strategy and operations meetings.
• Represent the company in industry and community organizations.Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license in Texas.
  • 10+ years leading a business or practice area with a focus on growth and client development.
  • 20+ years in planning and designing public sector projects.
  • Familiarity with the North Texas region.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
