• Responsible for managing all departmental functions to support the hospital's mission and goals.
• Identify cost-effective systems to support the department, maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, employees, and vendors.
• Allocate fiscal and human resources based on guidelines, develop plans of care, and maintain clinical competency. What qualifications you will need: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, advanced degree preferred.
  • Five years of management experience, including labor and delivery experience, required.
  • Competency in L&D clinical practice. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
    • Current RN license, BLS provider certification, NRP certification required within 3 months of hire.
    • Must successfully complete AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring Course within 1 year of hire.
