The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Summary:
The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will specialize in cardiovascular care, involving clinic-based work and some hospital rounding.

Salary: $115K and increases with experience (negotiable)
Location: Dallas and Rockwall, Texas

Position Summary:

• Clinic Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5pm; Friday, 8:30am-3pm.
• Hospital Rounding: Dallas, Rockwall, and Rowlett area facilities.
• After-Hours Call: Every one in every five weeks.
• Work Environment: Supportive of work/life balance.
• EMR System: eClinicalWorks.
• Experience Required: Five (5) years of cardiovascular experience.
  Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Proficient in charting patient history, physical exams, and other notes in the EMR with clinicians and independently.
  • Build rapport and maintain regular communication with patients, families, primary care physicians, and specialists including communicating test results.
  • Demonstrate excellent clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Primarily clinic-based with some hospital rounding on a small inpatient census.
    Education and Experience:
    • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
    • Valid Texas license in good standing.
    • Controlled Substance Registration and Federal DEA Certification.
