Location:South Denton Behavioral HealthDepartment:Psychology-Denton ClinicShift:First Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:40Summary:The Cook Childrens Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the Psychology Department provides a full-time employment position designed to give Post-Doctoral Fellows practical experience in the operations of a pediatric hospital outpatient behavioral health clinic. The position will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, generating treatment recommendations and conducting evaluation feedback sessions. Fellows will be working with a broad range of patient populations, ranging in ages from 0-18 years with a multitude of medical diagnoses and neurodevelopmental and/or neurocognitive disorders. Education: Ph.D. or Psy.D in Psychology from an APA-accredited clinical psychology training program. Training in child growth and development required. Prior experience in pediatric setting preferred. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to develop outstanding leadership skills. Demonstrate commitment to high standards of patient care and customer relations practice.
