About the RoleAs a key member of our interdisciplinary team, the Registered Dietician will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care at Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in dietetics and nutrition, with a focus on acute care settings.Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and reassessments of patients to ensure their nutritional needs are met.
• Develop and implement effective care plans, working closely with other hospital departments to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and training to staff on therapeutic diets, food allergens, and other related topics.
• Collaborate with the survey team to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the hospital's mission and goals.Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in dietetics or a related field.
  • Registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • State licensure/certification, if required by state.
