Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriter to provide underwriting
support and expertise related to real estate title insurance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization for the
issuance of real estate title insurance commitments and
policies
Utilize underwriting standards and guidelines to underwrite the
issuance of title insurance
Guide company personnel in the performance of real estate
settlement services
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
5-7 years of title underwriting experience
Familiarity with real estate law
Strong understanding of real estate title and settlement
processes
General knowledge of Federal and State regulations related to real
estate title insurance
