Job Description:
A company is looking for a Certified Tumor Registrar.
Key Responsibilities
Conducts medical record reviews to assess cancer diagnosis,
treatment, and disease status
Performs case abstraction, follow-up maintenance, and research for
all reported cancer cases
Prepares statistical reports and responds to inquiries related to
cancer treatment follow-up
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Anatomy and Physiology Levels I-II and
Medical Terminology course
2 years of experience in a hospital-based tumor registry
Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification required upon
hire
Knowledge of cancer treatment options and tumor registry
operations
Proficiency in medical terminologies and database management
software
