Paragon is seeking a Senior I&C Test Technician to join our team in our Fort Worth, Texas office! Requirements:Perform functional testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide variety of complex electronic componentsDesign, fabricate and implement test set ups to meet testing requirementsPerform failure analysis of various componentsPerform fit, form, and function comparison analysis of replacement componentsDedication/qualification of commercially available components for safety related applications in nuclear utilitiesTesting and troubleshooting with digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, wave generators and assorted test equipment necessary to perform assigned tasksMust be proficient with evaluating component test procedure, methods and equipment for adequacy. Perform repairs on circuit boardsPrepare and assist in component test setups, tests, and maintenance of equipmentDemonstrate the ability to solder surface mount and thru hole componentsDemonstrate capabilities in basic fabrication techniques including, resistance testing, cabling, and skills with manufacturing toolsPerform builds and repairs independently, familiar with the tools, MTE and equipment to be employed and shall have demonstrated proficiency in their usePerform component inspections/tests and document results independentlyPerform component level repairsFamiliar with operational forms and documentationCapable of operating basic control and recording equipment and verifying raw dataCapable of interpreting block diagrams and basic schematicsPractical knowledge of electronic and mechanical fundamentalsAdditional duties and tasks assigned by managementQualifications:High school diploma required; Associate degree in electronics preferred10+ years of prior experience in manufacturing testing required (military experience accepted)Able to communicate effectively across all functions the organizationA high attention to detail with good documentation skills, and able to write legiblyProficient in SMT solderingProficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft ExcelFollow safety proceduresHas time management, organization, analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in basic computer skills (file organization, email, etc.)Proficient math skillsProficiency in using the following equipment: meters, Variacs, power supplies, megger, hi-pot, o-scope, soldering tools, calipers, and toolsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information, or other legally protected status.
