Paragon is looking for a Receiving Associate to join our team. The Receiving Associate will be responsible for performing receiving duties and inspections of a wide variety of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.--Responsibilities:Verifies and keeps records on incoming shipmentsCompares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other recordsUnpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages--Routes items to departments--Operate forklift or use hand-truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area--Other duties as assigned--Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentExperience in quality assurance inspections as they relate to material receipt and shipmentMust be able to use basic calibrated test equipment (i.e., calipers, multi-meters, etc.)Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word & Excel); Experience using any type of Enterprise Resource Planning system software a plusMust have attention to detailMust be available to work overtime including evenings and weekends with little to no advance notice All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information, or other legally protected status.
