Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Radiological/Nuclear SME to support the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA).



Key Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise on chemical, radiological/nuclear, and biological threats, including the development and regulatory approval of medical countermeasures
Review and comment on technical proposals, study protocols, and regulatory documents while developing expert reports and assessments
Advise federal staff on program development, cost estimates, and strategic discussions related to BARDA's mission



Required Qualifications

PhD in nuclear engineering, physics, or a closely related field
15+ years of experience in intelligence analysis and development of medical countermeasures
Demonstrated knowledge of nuclear programs, strategic weapons developments, and counterproliferation
Practical understanding of technical requirements for weaponizing nuclear/radiological materials
Ability to obtain a public trust clearance and must be a U.S. citizen
