Job Description:
A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims
Representative to assist hospitals and medical providers in
resolving accounts related to work-related injuries.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts
Contact employers, insurance carriers, and injured workers to
gather necessary information for claims
Submit insurance bills and appeals, while ensuring timely payment
of claims
Qualifications and Requirements
High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims
adjudication, or Workers' Compensation
Proficient in data entry and MS Office applications
Strong customer service background with a positive attitude
Ability to manage a large workload effectively and adapt to
changing situations
